Knowing your whole story changes everything.
Because you’re more than a diagnosis.Evidence-based online therapy helping teens and adults in West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia understand the whole picture and create lasting change.
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose a response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
– Viktor Frankl
It feels like every part of your life needs attention.
The same struggles keep showing up in your relationships.
Your emotions seem to take over before you understand what’s happening.
Your body is not cooperating, either.
An ordinary moment stirs up a much larger reaction than you expected. You don’t understand why you’re so hard on yourself.
It’s exhausting trying to figure out where to start, or which part matters most.
You don’t just want to manage one piece. You want the whole picture.
What if it all fit together?
The different parts of your life don’t exist in isolation. The way you respond to stress, navigate relationships, see yourself, and experience the world often develop together over time.
What feels like many separate problems may actually tell one coherent story.
And that’s where our work begins.

Interpersonal Reconstructive Therapy (IRT) helps us understand not only what you’re experiencing, but why.
Together we’ll explore how your experiences, relationships, and learning history shape the patterns showing up today.
When your life begins to make sense as a whole, change no longer feels like guesswork.
Understand what’s happening beneath the surface.
When what you’ve tried hasn’t helped, or hasn’t helped for long, it’s often a sign that there’s something deeper that hasn’t been addressed. This is where gaining the clarity you need becomes important.
Lasting change doesn’t come from forcing yourself to react differently or simply trying harder. It comes from understanding the patterns that are keeping you stuck – both how they developed and what’s maintaining them now.
Therapy is a space where you can better understand your story, and my role is to help you make sense of how your symptoms developed, what they’re connected to, and why they keep showing up the way they do.
Reach Out Now →Hi, I’m Dr. E.
I founded Yavneh Psychology because I believe people deserve thoughtful, comprehensive care that treats them as whole human beings – not diagnoses.
My approach is evidence-based and tailored to you. I draw from multiple treatment approaches – treatment is dictated by how your symptoms make sense, not what your diagnosis is.
I work with adults and teens facing a wide range of concerns, including childhood trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and women’s health concerns such as endometriosis.
No two people arrive with the exact same story. Together, we’ll work to understand the patterns shaping your life and create meaningful opportunities for change.
